There is so much to do at Vineyard 345 Family Farm, whether you’re interested in a farmers market, tours with school-aged kids, picking your own fruits and vegetables, or getting married in a unique venue. Located in Lawton, Michigan, there are all types of things to do at this farm run by four generations of the Derhammer family, a tradition that began in the early 1900s.
From Mid-May through October, drop by for a host of events including their Harvest Days Festival, where you can pick up a pumpkin, get lost in a maze, take a turn in a bounce house, and ride a barrel train. You might even try your hand at giant yard bowling. Your paid admission includes lots of extras during their family days, from making s’mores around a campfire to face painting. They even offer a pumpkin carving weekend where you can find the perfect pumpkin while enjoying caramel corn, dipped caramel apples and homemade pretzels.
During the season you can stay organic while you pick your own asparagus, pumpkins, apples in their apple orchard, and, of course, grapes (grapes peak in mid-September through mid-October). The farm also has a green house where you can find bedding plants like tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, eggplant and squash. For flowers, you might want to grab some hearty fall mums, wave petunias, or pansies.
Sigh. A country wedding in a vineyard. They call it “casual elegance” and you can choose from having your nuptials in the vineyard itself or in a red barn. Follow that up with a reception enjoying the natural pastoral beauty of the beautiful Michigan countryside. Check out their website to see some gorgeous photos you can only get in a wedding set in a venue this unique.

Plan a field trip with students who will see and learn how they grow the Welch’s concord grapes. Your two hour tour is customizable and can include a wagon ride, train ride, farm tour, some time on a bounce house, and visiting the vineyard. For adults, consider the vineyards to host a birthday party, reunion, church or office picnic or even an important anniversary. Their 25-acre vineyard has a facility that seats up to 150 people and an outdoor covered porch. They offer many extras, such as a kitchen, warming oven, refrigerator, and white linens. You can enjoy the setting for your event while the big details are already taken care of.
Located in the heart of Michigan Grape Country, this vineyard is a must-do attraction during those nice summer and fall months. If you like lots of activities and beautiful scenery, you need to check out Vineyard 354 Farm!
