From the Runway: Spring 2017 Dress Trends

Are you planning a wedding for 2017? You have probably already been searching for The Dress or will begin looking soon. For the trendy bride, you want to have something unique and jaw dropping. The latest styles of designer couture definitely cover that! Without further ado, here are the top wedding dress trends to watch for Spring 2017!

If you have dreamed of a ball gown, you may have to keep dreaming (but don’t count one out!). Many of the dresses seen on the runway had ecclectic shapes, but most were very form fitting. Sheer sheath dresses, A-Line gowns, lace and ruffled tiers were all abundant. High low dresses, long sleeves, and off the shoulder gowns round out the top contenders for dress couture.

Designers are moving toward displaying a more daring bride with plunging necklines taking center stage in the front, and large bows adorning the backs of gowns. 3D flowers are being carried over from 2016, while halter tops and spaghetti straps are making a comeback from the ’90s. Keeping with the sexier, more risque style, cutouts were also a big hit. Catering to the more non-traditional and modern bride, designers featured gowns in Pantone hues such as Rose Quartz and Serenity. Two piece dresses and pants also stormed the runway.
