I need to talk to my parents about our wedding expenses. How should I go about that?

It is important to bring up the finances in a proper way. Simply have a private discussion with them about the issue. You can either have this discussion with both sets of parents at the same time or one at a time. Whatever is more comfortable for you and them. The most important thing when bringing up money is let them know you are appreciative of them and understanding of their financial situation whatever it maybe. Just don’t go into this meeting demanding money and telling them what needs to happen.
