Bruce and Chris Westwood purchased the 78-acre ranch at 11838 Civil War Road, Carthage, MO, in the fall of 2012.

Chris fell in love with the ranch on sight, especially the main barn (above), which is more than 100 years old. She had a vision that this old barn could become a beautiful rustic venue for weddings, parties and other events.

Host your wedding ceremony next to the pond and celebrate your reception in the 1890s barn or in the outdoor reception location of the Polebarn. Or, as an alternative, hold your wedding ceremony and reception at the Spring Creek Pavilion in the Woods east of the main barn complex.

Host a rodeo, horse competition, dog show, circus or other events in our large indoor arena that includes stands and concessions.

There's plenty of room on the 78-acre ranch for a multitude of large outdoor/indoor events.

The ranch complex features:

• Variety of free decorations you can use to decorate your wedding
• 160' by 125' Indoor Arena that is available for equestrian events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
• Spring Creek Pavilion in the Woods that includes a stone-parquet stage, spring-fed well, rocky stream, arched wedding bridge, air-conditioned bridal dressing room, and bench seating for 60 guests and additional seating on the facing slope.
