September is finally here and we are ready for another month of birthdays! Did you know that September is the most popular birth month in the United States? That means there are many birthdays coming up. Don’t stress out about planning every single one—we have some ideas to help you out.
Football Kick-Off
For all the football fans out there, this is the birthday party for you. Celebrate your birthday and the start of football season at the same time! It’s time to fire up the grill and watch your favorite opening games. Host a backyard football game during half-time for a little competition. You can even order a football cake themed after your favorite college or professional team from a local vendor.
Talk Like a Pirate Party
If you didn’t know, September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. For all the pirates at heart, this would be an awesome birthday party theme! Invite your friends and family to come dressed in a pirate costume and pretend to be sailing the seven seas. Serve all yer mateys canon meatballs, golden nuggets, and Polly crackers! Don’t forget to keep the rum flowing—it’s every pirate’s favorite drink. Looking for a family-friendly pirate party? Check it out here.
Fall Feast
September 23rd is the official first day of fall and we are ready for it. Bring on pumpkin spice lattes, hayrides, and Halloween. Are you a fall lover? Then throw a fantastic fall feast for your birthday! Have pumpkins for you and your guests to carve to sit outside on your front porch. Play lots of spooky classics like Hocus Pocus, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Friday the 13th. Provide pumpkin pie, caramel apples, and apple cider for refreshments and enjoy conversations with your friends and family.
A themed party is a great way to spice up your birthday celebration. Pick your favorite party ideas and have a blast on your birthday!
