It’s time for a new school year, which means kids will be making new friends and reuniting with old ones. Help your kids with this transition back to school by throwing them a party for their classmates. Get these little ones looking forward to the year with our party ideas!
Backyard Bash
With fall fast approaching, enjoy the last bit of warm weather with an outdoor party. Break out your camping gear for this fun-filled night—tents, air mattresses, and sleeping bags are a requirement. Stock up on hot dogs and of course lots of s’mores. You can also set up an outdoor theater and put on some of the kids’ favorite movies!
SuperPOWer Party
This party theme really packs a punch! Get the kids excited for this by inviting each one to come dressed as their favorite superhero. Put up decorations filled with different characters such as Batman, Spiderman, Wonder Woman, and Supergirl. Serve superhero-themed cupcakes and host a costume contest with a prize for the best one.
Slip ‘N Slide Soaker
Slide into the new school year with a fun afternoon cooling off in the summer heat. Set up a slip ‘N slide, water sprinklers, water guns, and lots of water balloons for the kids to enjoy. Serve up hamburgers and fries for lunch while the kids hang out with their friends!
Going back to school can be difficult for every kid. A new school year brings new teachers, new classmates, and the worst part—homework. But with the right kickoff to the year, you can get your kids and their friends excited for what’s to come!
