I have a question? This is my second marriage. It is also the groom's second marriage. We both had crushes on one another in highschool in 1972. Sp yes im 60 and he is 65. We have just reunited and havr decided to get married. He is wantimg to use his senior prom theme for the wedding. Reason was because he was supposed to ask me to his senior prom. He was shy and I was afraid of being forward so I didn't go to his senior prom. I am wanting to wear s purple dress with flowers on it . Sorry for the delay in response! As far as the purple dress with flowers, go for it! It's your big day, so you can easily theme the rest of your wedding around your dress. September is right on the cusp between summer and fall, but a color scheme rich in jewel tones would be gorgeous, and I think it would go with your theme as well. Think of colors like amethyst purple, ruby red, and emerald green.
