After months of waiting, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally tied the knot! The wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful, filled with much love and traditions that date back centuries! Did you miss the wedding? Here are 5 things we noticed that are definitely worth putting on the spotlight.
THE WEDDING DRESS
The stunning white gown was designed by Clare Waight Keller, the Artistic Director at Givenchy. Meghan, the now Duchess of Sussex, requested that all 53 countries of the Commonwealth be included in some way into her wedding attire. The designer was able to beautifully create a veil that represented each Commonwealth country in its floral composition.
WEDDING DRESS #2
Yep! Two wedding dresses were worn by the beautiful Duchess! The first dress was definitely one to make a memorable entrance at St. George's Chapel, while dress number 2 was simple, elegant and chic.

THE FLORAL ARCHWAY
The stunning floral archway decorating the entrance at St. George's Chapel was gigantic, definitely eye-catching! White garden roses, peonies, foxgloves, branches of beech, birch and hornbeam made this a stunning sight to look at. Kudos to Philippa Craddock for creating such an incredible floral piece!
The day following the wedding ceremony, all the flowers decorating St. George's Chapel were turned into hand-tied bouquets and delivered to hospices around London. What a beautiful gesture from the newlyweds! Don't you think?
FLOWER BOUQUET
The bouquet is said to have been handpicked by the Duke himself! It included forget-me-nots (late Princess Diana's favorite flower), myrtle, lily of the valley, astrantia and astilbe.

After the ceremony took place, the bouquet was sent to Westminster Abbey. It is tradition for the bride's bouquet to rest on the grave of an unknown warrior.

Kate Middleton's Outfit
The Duchess of Cambridge made headlines after wearing what appeared to be a white Alexander McQueen coat dress to the royal wedding. This had many people asking, "Is it okay to wear white if you're not the bride?" The answer is yes, as long as you have the bride's approval. In this case, Kate Middleton's outfit was more of a cream/off-white color. We're sure a lot of thought went into what she was going to wear and got Meghan Markle's approval.
