Along with planning your wedding, you also have to plan out your honeymoon. This is an important part and a time where you can truly relax and enjoy each other's company. This is the time you definitely look forward to when planning your wedding. Along with everything else that you are scheduling, you also have to think about what to pack. Do you not want another thing to add to your check list? Well, Wedding and Party Network has a what to pack and what not to pack for your honeymoon to help make your packing a little easier.
- Sandals & Flip Flops
- Shorts – Depending on where you are honeymooning, you may pack all shorts or just a few pair.
- Jeans – Again, if your vacation is somewhere tropical, only pack one pair. However, if it's winter or fall, that should be the majority of your bottoms.
- Swimsuits & cover ups – If it's a beach location, definitely pack a few options.
- Jacket – You never know how the weather will be. However, if you're going somewhere cooler, a heavier jacket is a must.
- Tank tops & tees – You want to be comfortable and need a few casual options. So, tank tops and tees are great to wear out on excursions and just lounging around.
- Sunglasses
- Hats – If you're a hat person or not, one or two hats are nice for excursions.
- Sunblock, aloe vera & tanning lotion are a definite must anywhere you go, especially the sunblock.
- Books & magazines are great to have on the plane rides and by the pool. It's all about relaxing.
- Athletic shoes are great if you have any exploring to do or just walking around town.
- Lip balm, bug spray, umbrella, guide-book are good accessories to pack for exploring and will help you be prepared for the unexpected weather.
- Camera should be number one of your list to capture the special moments on your trip.
Evening Out
- High heels and dressy flats
- Cocktail dresses – Plan out your nights beforehand. This way, you know how many cocktail dresses to bring.
- Evening bag & accessories to complete your outfit.
Beauty & Accessories – These are a given, but just in case you forget…
- Socks, underwear, bras
- Toothbrush & toothpaste
- Shaving cream & razors
- Blow dryer, straighter, curling iron
- Electrical converter
- Shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion, hair ties, hair brush, comb
- Larger bags for laundry and wet clothes
- Medical kit full of band aids, ointment, aspirin, motion sickness etc…
- Passport
What To Leave Behind
- Location information – Make sure to leave behind important information like, your day-to-day schedule on where you are staying, hotel names, phone numbers and addresses. It's so important to do this just in case anything may happen. Leave a family member in charge or hand it out to several people so they know.
- Copies of your passport, drivers license, credit card numbers, life insurance, traveler's check receipts, important documents and financial documents in case anything should happen. Be sure and make sure you let a family member know where they can find this information.
Plan out ahead of time a list of what to pack. This will make everything so much better and even pack maybe a week or so ahead of time, or at least lay everything out to be placed in your suitcase. This will definitely make everything go smoother.
