The first of the new year brings many proposals. When planning a proposal, it has to be well thought out, planned, and be everything and more that your significant other has dreamed about. Remember, your proposal story will bet old over and over again. So, it must be special. If you're having a hard time finding inspiration, Wedding and Party Network has some unique proposal ideas that will be a story to tell.
The Power Couple
If you have both achieved your dream and are both successful, you deserve a special proposal- Traditional – If you enjoy spending time with each other on date night at restaurants, movies, or romantic evenings together, consider taking your proposal up a notch by renting out the entire restaurant or theatre. Even if your restaurant has a rooftop, talk with the restaurant manager to see if it's possible to set up a table up there for the two of you. Don't forget to rent out a limousine for the two of you and make sure you both dress up in your best formal wear. Make sure this is a special night.
- Traditional with a twist – Plan a surprise engagement party. However, you need to have complete faith in the fact that she will say yes. Maybe get with her boss and come up with a scheme where she think she's being honored at work for her achievements. When she gets to the party, it will be a surprise engagement. Towards the beginning of the party, call her up to the front and give her a speech about how she is the greatest achievement of your life.
The Out-Of-The-Box Couple
Are you both really big kids at heart? You both just really enjoy being silly together and you feel 110% comfortable around each other. Your dates consist of nothing ordinary and you definitely prefer candy over the steak.
- Keeping it traditional – Plan a date to a theme park, state fair, or just take a trip to the local playground. Plan a fun-filled date that involves rides, games, and cotton candy. Finish the night off in a photo booth where you can pop the question.
- With a twist – Think about creating a scavenger hunt. Take her to some of her favorite places with fun clues to get her to the next location.
A Fashionable Couple
You both enjoy shopping and basically it looks like you two stepped right out of a magazine. Try to incorporate fashion into your proposal.
- Traditional shopping spree – Plan a fun-filled day of shopping. Take her to her favorite stores and maybe even a spa. You could then finish your shopping spree off with dinner and the theatre where you propose or you could finish it at a jewelry store and let her pick out the engagement ring.
- With a twist – Start off with a shopping spree and maybe even plan an appointment at her favorite salon. However, once you're done with that, go off to have your engagement photographed. It maybe a typical photo session, but then take out the ring. It makes for wonderful pictures and your engagement will be captured through photos.
There is a proposal out there for everyone! Just plan ahead,
