Your Wedding Wednesday Question
How Do I Get Guests to RSVP?
Answer:
RSVP's are extremely important when planning a wedding. Every bride knows that. You have to let the venue know, bakery and especially the caterer know the guest count. So, the good question is on how you get them to actually RSVP. First off, just because they don't respond within the first week doesn't mean they're not going to respond at all. Give them a good leeway time, maybe 2-3 weeks. You can also send pre-stamped enclosure cards or allow your guests to RSVP via email. That normally encourages them to RSVP. If you haven't heard from your guests by the time you are supposed to let your wedding vendors know a head count, call and ask. Explain to them that you need to know a final head count and it won't hurt your feelings what they respond with. Don't stress too much about RSVP's, just remember to enjoy this time.
