Inspirational Friday: Planning A Baby Shower

Spring is a popular time for hosting baby showers. However, they happen all year round. Blues, pinks, yellows and pastels will be in full force when planning a baby shower.

Planning a baby shower is a difficult task. You want to find all the right details to make a wonderful shower for the special mom-to-be. Find inspiration in the traditional baby shower colors, such as pastel pink, blue, green and yellow. However, turn them into something unique. Create an adorable baby shower theme and run with it. An owl baby shower, bird themed baby shower or a book themed baby shower would be simple adorable. The theme is what counts when planning a baby shower. Just find all the right accessories, such as party decorations and a party cake to match, and you’ll have a wonderful baby shower that everyone will love.

Inspirational Friday: Going Green

Every Friday, Wedding and Party Network will be choosing a theme or color and give you inspirational photos. We want to help give you inspiration for your next event, wedding or party. So, take a look and we hope to give you a bit of inspiration when planning your wedding or party. Our inspirational board will give everyone inspiration for going green. When you think green, you may think of the color or being environmentally friendly. Whatever you think of, there are great ways to incorporate them into your wedding or next party.

When you think of March, you think St. Patrick’s Day or the beginning of beautiful weather. March is the color for green with all the blooming flowers and St. Patrick’s Day. So, incorporate that into your wedding or party. You can make green floral arrangements and pair it with pink, white or purple accents to make it pop even more. Create a green candy bar, use green party food or add green to your wedding cake or party cake. However, if you interpret “going green” into environmentally friendly you can use all the right resources to make sure you have a Eco-friendly party. E-vites, recyclable invitations, recyclable paper, reusable plates or Eco-friendly party favors will be great for a “green” wedding. So, incorporate green into your next event.

A beautiful Springtime wedding should feature pastel colors and a theme of light and airy. When we think Spring, we think of being outdoors in the beautiful weather. Amazing fresh flowers, simple decorations and light colors should adorn your Springtime wedding. Plan it around the outdoors or bring the outdoors inside to a wonderful reception venue. Spectacular weather and the wonderful feeling of being outdoors are all the elements of a great Spring wedding.

Inspirational Friday – Mardi Gras Theme!

So, take a look and we hope to give you a bit of inspiration when planning your wedding or party. Our inspirational board will give everyone inspiration for Mardi Gras. The colors purple, green and gold are so fun and will make your party or wedding a big hit! So, this week we will give you photos featuring all the colors of Mardi Gras.

When throwing a Mardi Gras party, it doesn’t have to be a full-blown explosion of purples, greens and golds. You can tone it down to pastel colors or stick with two colors, if it’s more for a dinner party. However, going all out for Mardi Gras seems to fit best. Bright purples, golds and greens can incorporate it into a party cake, tablescape and even your flowers. Throwing this themed party will be a hit. Just add some beads and you have yourself a great Mardi Gras party.

Incorporating blue into your wedding reception through table linens, sashes or centerpieces would look simply divine. While, including it into your wedding cake or ice bar will be just an added touch. Blue looks great on almost everyone so making this color part of your bridesmaid dresses would be ideal. Along with matching wedding bouquets and boutonnieres. Blue is such a fun color to incorporate into your wedding, party, special event or baby shower.
