There is so much to do at Vineyard 345 Family Farm, whether you're interested in a farmers market, tours with school-aged kids, picking your own fruits and vegetables, or getting married in a unique venue. Located in Lawton, Michigan, there are all types of things to do at this farm run by four generations of the Derhammer family, a tradition that began in the early 1900s.
During the season you can stay organic while you pick your own asparagus, pumpkins, apples in their apple orchard, and, of course, grapes (grapes peak in mid-September through mid-October). The farm also has a green house where you can find bedding plants like tomatoes, peppers, broccoli, eggplant and squash. For flowers, you might want to grab some hearty fall mums, wave petunias, or pansies.
Sigh. A country wedding in a vineyard. They call it "casual elegance" and you can choose from having your nuptials in the vineyard itself or in a red barn. Follow that up with a reception enjoying the natural pastoral beauty of the beautiful Michigan countryside. Check out their website to see some gorgeous photos you can only get in a wedding set in a venue this unique.
