Servants Ministry is exactly what it sounds like, a ministry done by servants who just want to help you have the best possible wedding day. George Haithcock performs weddings, along with his wife, Ruth, for couples within a 100-mile radius of Wichita, Kansas and has done so since 2007. George is an ordained minister and has been in ministry for more than two decades. Ruth acts as a same day coordinator for couples who do not have one.
Servants Ministry works with couples who want to get married that may not have a lot of money to spend. In that spirit, they will travel to the wedding charging no travel fee and attend rehearsals at no extra charge. They also recently added two new services, both at no cost: providing couples with the Unity Candle and offering a Sand Service. In addition, they can also provide wedding music on CD and a wireless mic. They have no set fees. All services are provided with payment being what the couple can afford for the service.
Many couples have taken advantage of this service. Servants Ministry is nearly always booked; they performed 38 weddings by July just last year. They also won the Wedding Wire's Couple Choice Award in 2014. Couples noted not only how inexpensive they were but also how helpful they both were in officiating the ceremony and coordinating the service.
The Haithcock's also provide the spiritual aspect in the ceremony, making the vows personal and beautiful. One bride stated, "I was really impressed with how he incorporated all the elements we wanted into our wedding so seamlessly. I recommend them to anyone who is looking for quality people to officiate their wedding!"
If you would like to have someone officiate your wedding who is a servant and whose heart is mindful of you and your fiance's special day, consider using Servants Ministry.
