Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and you may be freaking out. Take a deep calming breath, and keep reading! We're here to give you some pointers to help your Turkey Day go off without a hitch!
Make A List, Check It Twice
No, not your Christmas list, but your grocery list. Check through each recipe and ake sure you have all the needed ingredients, including spices, and other oddities that you may only use once or twice a year.
Prep, Prep, Prep
If it can be made ahead of time, make it! Go ahead and cut up any vegetables, and do all of your prep work now. Prep work takes so much time, and if you can have things pre-prepped, it takes no time at all to throw it together to cook. This also goes for casseroles and pies that can be assembled ahead of time, and then put in the oven to cook.
Set the Table
If you know how many people will be attending your dinner (or even if you don't), go ahead and set the table. This will give you time to make your table look nice and add in special touches that you might not have time for otherwise, like place cards.
Do the Dishes
If you have any dirty dishes, wash them. If there is a clean load of dishes in the dishwasher, unload it. If you have the dishwasher empty, this will save time on clean up on Thanksgiving Day. Plus, an empty sink always makes you feel better.
Create a Playlist
Find a good holiday playlist to jam to, or create your own! This can help keep you motivated while cooking, and double as entertainment for your guests.
Buy Wine
Whether you are sering a white or a red, you should get your wine before Thanksgiving Day so you will have more than enough time to chill it or let it breathe. Plus, you may need to sneak a glass to help keep your stress levels down. We won't judge.
Relax
Do just that. Your Thanksgiving will be great no matter what because you get to spend it with the people you love.
