There's no doubt that Halloween is many people's favorite time of year. There are also numerous ways to celebrate this fun day. Kids will want to go Trick or Treating. Teens tend to do more tricking than treating, and adults usually want a fun party to attend.

13th Gate– Baton Rouge, Louisiana

The Darkness– St. Louis, Missouri
This season will mark 23 years of fear for the The Darkness in St. Louis, MO, and this is not just one haunted house, but six different attractions. That's a whole lot of scary in one location!
Dent Schoolhouse– Cincinnati, Ohio
The Dent Schoolhouse is unique in the fact that it takes place in a real haunted schoolhouse. It also features a lights on tour for those who scare easy (a.k.a kids) and a ghost tour that explains the history of the schoolhouse and paranormal experiences different people have had.
Netherworld– Atlanta, Georgia
For 20 years, Netherworld has has been terrifying its patrons. Be warned, when you walk into Netherworld, you are walking into a war zone of all things that go bump in the night.
Erebus– Pontiac, Michigan
Erebus is four stories of terror created by two veterans of the haunt world. Once a World Record holder for longest walk-through haunted attraction, Erebus has been described as so scary it hurts!
Spookywoods– Greensboro, North Carolina
Be ready for thrills and chills of all kinds when you enter Spookywoods. This labyrinth of haunted attractions contains all your worst fears.
Headless Horseman Hayrides & Haunted Houses– Ulster Park, New York
As the top haunted hayride in the the nation, Headless Horseman has something for everyone. Ride the Horseman's Spawn Hayride, then venture through one of many haunted houses before grabbing a bite to eat at one of four themed cafes.
13th Floor– Denver, Colorado
For this year, 13th Floor is bringing back some of the classics. Face the stuff of nightmares in their Slasher Remix haunted house, before taking on the living dead and a voodoo curse.
The Beast– Kansas City, Missouri
The Beast holds the honor as America's largest haunted house and has been in operation since 1991. If you can make it to the top floor of this fear factory, the exit is a four-story slide- that plunges straight down.
Haunted Hotel– San Diego, CA
The longest running haunted house in San Diego, the Haunted Hotel is described on their website as having "spine tingling, heart pounding effects that are so real they will keep you screaming for your life…"
Cutting Edge-Ft. Worth, Texas
Cutting Edge holds two world records, one for World's Largest Haunted Attraction, and another for World's Largest Walk Through Haunted House. It is contained in an old meat processing plant, that has been transformed into a human processing plant…Yikes!
Freakling Bros– Las Vegas, Nevada
Rated one of the top haunted attractions in the world, Freakling Bros also has Nevada's only R-Rated haunted attraction. Think the Trilogy of Terror isn't intense enough? Watch for their Victim Experience, which is on hiatus for 2016, but should return next year.
Bates Motel– Glenn Mills, Pennsylvania
No, not the TV show, but a haunted attraction. Once you check in, you will do whatever it takes to check out. Located at Araspha Farm, there is also a haunted hayride and corn maze.
Any one of these haunted houses should be enough to get the adrenaline flowing and make for a horrific night of fun for a group of thrill seekers! After you are done running for your lives, head back home to top off the night, and relive the fun!
