So get those kitchens ready and start prepping for a tasty holiday season, with a few great dinner accessories to go along with it.
Holiday Hor D'ourves
The holiday season is just full of unique ideas and endless possibilities when it comes to everything Christmas! Especially when it comes to food. Let's start with the appetizers. Everyone loves cheese balls, which can be shaped into a wreath, Christmas package, snowman or even a Christmas tree.
Great season dips, roasted pecans, seasonal fruits and vegetables make great pairings to the holiday season. There are so many unique Christmas shapes that you can shape out of almost any party food.
Christmas Dinner
Now that the hor d'ourves are served, now it's time to sit down and enjoy everyone's company over a nice hot dinner. Delicious ham, stuffing, cranberry sauce and green bean casserole are tasty traditional food that everyone will love around Christmas time. However, switch it up. Make something unique, like Mexican cuisines, roast a goose or something totally out of the box. Even having it catered by your local catering would be great. They have tons of holiday recipes that they would love to bring to your kitchen.
Party caterers will supply the tasty recipes and take the stress away from you. Plus, you'll get to spend more time with your guests. Whatever you choose, just remember it's your holiday, so make it yours. Stay with the traditional or start a new tradition of your own, all your guests will love it.
Oh So Divine Desserts
Pumpkin pie, pecan pie, divinity, fudge, gingerbread and fruitcakes are just the beginning of all the succulent desserts you can create. You can throw just a dessert party and your guests will be happy. Set up a dessert bar featuring all the gourmet goodies, decorated with beautiful lights and a gorgeous holiday centerpiece.Serve up a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit and delicious sweets to go with it. There are endless possibilities. Again, switch it up. Make something out of the ordinary or stick with traditional. Holiday desserts are the perfect ending to any night.
Warm Up With A Delicious Beverage
Before sending your guests out into the cold weather, warm them up with some delicious beverages. Hot apple cider, hot chocolate, egg nog, delicious flavored coffee or holiday punch will surely warm up your guests. Throw in a little pomegranate or decorate the glasses with red or green colored sugar or peppermints. Dangle peppermints off the side of the glass or crush them up and rim the outside of the glass in them. So fun and adds another delicious flavor to your Christmas drinks.
There are so many delicious recipes out there, that you may just have a variety of drinks to serve to your guests. Maybe a different one for each course, that would be fun! Again, so many unique drinks out there that your guests will love!
Serve Your Holiday Food In Style
Don't forget, your food may be tasty and visually spectacular, but take it up a notch by serving it in style. Remember our decoupaged holiday plates, well that would be great to serve your food in! Style them just to your liking. Another fun idea you may want to try is painting your own plates, serving trays or even wine glasses. You may have old wine glasses, plates or even wine bottles stored in your house, well reuse them!
Get paint at your local craft store and a paint brush and you're all set. Paint them with your guests names, holiday symbols, ornaments, snowflakes or whatever theme you like. You don't have to be an artist to be able to stencil these items, just check out our how-to video on painting wine glasses. They're a cinch.
Styling your food with fun serving ware will make your delicious party food stand out even more. Not only will they make a great serving piece, you can also use them as gifts or party favors! So many uses and so many ideas that you can use during any time of the year.
Serve up tasty treats and delectable desserts that everyone will enjoy. Serve a four course meal, a just desserts bar and top it off with luscious party beverages that will warm everyone up. Whatever you're serving, make sure you do so in style with great holiday serving pieces that you can create yourself!
