Ever wonder how to plan the perfect, yet simplistic, activities for your kids to enjoy with their dad on Father's Day? Here are some ways to ensure that they get that sought after quality time on Dad's big day.
Breakfast Date
Start the day off at Dad's favorite breakfast place. The break in routine is refreshing and it will fuel you up for any other activities you have planned for the day!
Be Artistic Together
Buy a canvas for each child and for Dad and create a piece of artwork to hang in your home or you could let Dad put it in his office at work. Make sure you date it so you know it was for Father's Day. This could even be an annual activity so your family can see the progression of creativity over the years.
Play a Sport
If your Dad is a sports fan, he will love the treat of doing anything sports related. Take him out to the local community center to throw a baseball with the kids or kick around a soccer ball. You can complete this activity with a picnic full of his favorite quick and easy foods. Or you can spice it up a little and get him the gift of some tickets to an actual game somewhere! That one may be easier as a one-on-one father/son or father/daughter date with his biggest little sports fan.
Whatever activities Dad is into, these ideas cover a nice range so you can make sure he and the kids get some fun and special time together for a very special Father's Day this year!
