With the holiday season upon us, you need to plan you Christmas dinner party. Start your planning off with finding the ideal centerpieces for your tablescape. Centerpieces are the focal point for any kitchen or dining room. Therefore, your centerpiece needs to be something amazing. Plus, there are so many styles that you won't know where to begin.
Choosing the right centerpiece doesn't have to be a daunting task, Begin by deciding what type of centerpiece would represent your style and the tone of your event. Is it an elegant and formal event or a fun and casual get-together. Remember centerpieces can range from simple to extravagant or traditional to unique; so pick the one you love best! Here are a few ideas to get you started!
Floral Arrangements
Flowers, such as poinsettia, are a traditional way to go when thinking about Christmas centerpieces. Run to your local florist and they'll be able to create a breathtaking centerpiece for your party. Beautiful garland accented with gorgeous Christmas poinsettia, a few ornaments and a little sparkle will absolutely make the ideal centerpiece for your dining room table.
However, you don't always have to go traditional. Mix up the colors, pair turquoise and a jewel toned pink together or make it a winter white Christmas at your house featuring all white. Of course, with the holiday season here; use what you have around you. Christmas ornaments are out in full force in stores and even in your home. They come in different styles featuring unique colors, fun shapes and a bit of glitter makes for a beautiful ornament.
Well why not use them in your home other than your tree? Scatter a few on the table or fill up a vase with ornaments. Fill up bowls, vases or even use them as accents in floral arrangements. There's so many uses for Christmas ornaments, that your house will look absolutely adorable.
Adorable Christmas Trees
Christmas trees come in all shapes, sizes and colors. They are decorated in garland, glitter, candy and even fabric. For our dinner party, we decked it out with fabric Christmas trees created with burlap and recyclable fabric to give it that rustic, yet traditional feel. If you have old Christmas sweaters or just fabric lying around that you have nothing for, whip up a fabric Christmas tree. You can also get a miniature tree and create a miniature version of your main tree in your house. Christmas trees add a holiday spirit to your home and livens it up.
