Are You Ready for Spring?
3 Tips for Hosting an Outdoor Party
We all love being outdoors during spring, especially when it's time to host parties. However, being outdoors can bring some unexpected events. If it's the weather, bugs or you just want to spend more time enjoying your party, we've got some tips that will help with an outdoor party.
- Make this party your own – When hosting a party, make sure you make it unique and it represents you. Throw your own little twist on the party with creative food or fun party decorations.
- Be weather ready – Being outside brings the unexpected nature of weather. Make sure to plan accordingly and be ready for anything.
- Create simple food – You don't want to be running around your party trying to make sure all the food is fresh and tasty. Be prepared ahead of time. Make everything you can in advanced, or simply hire a caterer.

The First Look
Tips on Capturing First Looks
Do you plan on seeing your husband-to-be or bride-to-be before the ceremony? Many brides are now doing creative first looks that make wonderful wedding photos. Need some ideas? Wedding and Party Network has a few that will make for a memorable first look.
- Blindfolded – Have your groom blindfolded near the altar or wherever you would like. Then, sneak up on him from behind. Make silly faces, kiss or whatever you like, and untie the blindfold. Makes for great photos.
- Balloons – You'll have extremely adorable photographs when you use balloons. You and your groom each hold a bouquet of balloons. Walk towards each other and once you get close enough, release the balloons.
- The Traditionalist – If you want to do a creative first look, but keep it traditional, consider having you groom stand at the alter or a spot of your preference and walk up behind him.
