Naturally Beautiful Destination Weddings
Destination weddings are becoming a popular way to tie the knot in the 21st century. With all of the beautifully diverse places the world has to offer it can be hard to choose the right place for your wedding. There is so much that goes into planning a destination wedding: climate, season, budget, how many guests, and the list could go on and on. Then, right when you think you’ve got your mind made up, you think of somewhere else, and the process starts all over again. Below are three great places in the United States with totally different climates that are beautiful venues for destination weddings.
Destination Wedding in Maui, Hawaii
Of course, the first place that comes to mind when you think destination wedding is Hawaii. Maui is a great place to get married where all four great seasons have acceptable wedding weather. September thru November or January thru March, are the least crowded seasons and the best time for a destination wedding. The month of December is perhaps the busiest time to go because of family Christmas getaways. As a result, it could be difficult to get reservations to the nicer restaurants or rent a surfboard. Mid-morning or sunset is the optimum wedding ceremony time in Maui. Extremely hot temperatures and crowds make mid-day weddings the least popular choice. Keep in mind, all beaches in Maui are public, so secluded areas for any length of time cannot be guaranteed. Check with the locals who have the best insight to the most beautiful and less touristy places. The wedding photographer and videographer, to the best of their ability, can also help you to avoid crowds. As far as budget goes, Maui is more expensive than the mainland. However, it depends on your needs and wants. There are great places to stay for less than $400.00/night all over the island. Based on the size of the wedding party and your budget, there are several destination wedding package options. In fact there are multiple services offering beach wedding packages; services range from getting your dress, wedding cake and flowers to finding the beach. The most expensive destination wedding packages run about $2000.00 for the wedding photographer, videographer, wedding flowers, wedding cake, minister, and marriage license.Destination Wedding in Colorado Springs, Colorado
