Do I invite all out-of-town guests to the rehearsal dinner or do I just invite the wedding party and our closest friends and family?

Answer:

You are not required to invite out of town guests to the rehearsal dinner, but if your budget allows it, it is a nice gesture. The guest list for a rehearsal dinner usually includes the bride and groom, all attendants and their spouses or partners and significant others, the couple’s immediate families, and  the clergy person and their spouse. Another suggestions is to have a small informal dinner with just your out-of-town guests.
