Answer:

It's really up to what kind of favor you choose and how well you know your guests. Do keep it consistent and give one to all couples if that is what you choose to do. Make sure to place the gift in a way that makes sense to each. For example, at the place card table, make their place card Mr. and Mrs. Smith and put the card on top of their favor, so they know the gift is for both of them.

You don't have to go the traditional route (a.k.a. even number of wedding attendants) . It is entirely up to you. However, an even number does make it easy when choreographing the walking of the ceremony, but here is an easy tip: if you have five bridesmaids and four groomsmen, just have two of the bridesmaids walk with the last groomsman (lucky guy!) Don't hesitate to make every part of your wedding the way YOU want–traditional or not.

As far as the dinner part, that is up to you! If you are having a small gathering at home or at a restaurant with only those in the wedding, go ahead and just give them a call. However, if you are wanting to invite more than a few people or plan on inviting some guests that are traveling to your wedding, you may want to send them some invites ahead of time (store bought invites will do).
