Wedding Trends for Autumn

The wedding season is not over yet. With fall slowly approaching we have looked around to see what’s trending right now in the wedding world. Here is what we found that might give you some ideas.

Fall – The Season Of Harvest

Everyone knows that fall means harvest and warm colored trees with all the leaves changing. A good idea is to implement some of these color schemes in your wedding. For example, use berries in your reception decorations, darker red colors in your floral decorations, or berries, leaves or wine colored flowers on the cake. There are so many ways you can incorporate these warm red colors in your wedding. Use red lipstick, use warm tones in your bridesmaids dresses or table linens. Let the creativity flow.

Summer is upon us and now is the time to start planning your summer parties. This month's newsletter gives you a few tips for planning a summer soiree that will help you create an outstanding party, yet without a lot of fuss.

Keep It Simple – Summer is all about these informal get togethers. Keep the decorations simple, as well as the food. Think family style or serving a variety of appetizers instead of a full course meal.
Do A Few Things Really Well – Really focus on just a few details instead of everything all at once. This means, put most of your attention on the flowers and the food. Your guests won't even notice the placement of the napkins or the linens or other little things that you are stressing over. Obsessing over everything will just stress you even more out.
Focus On The Season – Keep the flowers and food in season. There are some beautiful florals, as well as the sweetest fruit in season in summer. Bring those visuals and flavors to your party.

Hosting an outdoor party can be a daunting task. There are so many elements you have to deal with. This week's Party Tip focuses on 5 tips that will help you be a fabulous host of outdoor parties.

Simple Menu – Keep things simple so you won't get stuck in the kitchen. Enjoy the party.
Focal Points – Create a focal point on your table by adding a unique centerpiece and keeping the rest simple.
Lighting – Use tiki torches, string lights and candles to help set the mood of your party.
Seating – Make sure you have plenty of seating for everyone. Also, adding fun pillows can amp up your space as well.
